The wide-ranging landscape of the Tour du Bon estate, a veritable oasis, inspires peace and harmony. An environment that conveys a sense of freedom and truth, where the vines, arranged in concentric circles, seem to grow for the sheer joy of it. The imposing country house, flanked by its palm tree, stands guard atop its slab of limestone, protecting the cellar in its bosom where wine is made and matured. Every vineyard plot is baptised with a name which pays homage to the ties that bind La Tour du Bon to its past; mysterious ties that bind its occupants to this land – name such as La Rémoise, St Ferréol, Ensoleillade, Clos des Aïeux, L’aire, and Bellevue. The site is filled with a very special feeling of harmony and balance that invites the wanderer to experience a journey that is almost a rite of passage. We are filled with a sense of peace in this place of work, which is also a place of pleasure and rest, and which has a welcoming, human face. This strength, blending with gentleness, is thus passed to the wine, to emerge in its mellow taste.
