Having no particular affiliation to a certifying body (organic, biodynamic, etc.), our work in the vineyard is based on observation, anticipation of the weather and respect for the balance of Nature. A continuing important factor in our development is the interaction between winegrowers and viticultural advisors. Mechanical working of the soil (ploughing back and tilling) and basic plant-care treatments (sulphur, Bordeaux mixture) are carried out advisedly. A skilled team carries out jobs such as training (mainly bush, or gobelet, training with 2 buds for the red grape varieties and cordon de Royat spur training for white varieties), hoeing, looking after the young vines, pruning, removal of surplus fruit, trimming, and clearing brush.
